sport physiotherapy is a special branch of physiotherapy which deals with injuries and problems related to sports. sports injuries are every common in every days which affects the athletes by stresses their joints muscles bones to limited.



GAIT DISORDER ALSO  CAUSE SPORTS INJURIES: 

You may dip down at the hip during stance phase, which can lead to hip birsatist or ow back pain You may find clearing the ground difficult in swing phase. This may lead them to swing the leg round to swing through and cause hip pain 
  1. If you've have had a stroke or neurological disorder, you may not be able to support the weight fully enough to step with the other leg, which could cause a fall and potential fracture.
  2.  You may be unable to pull up your toes (foot drop), which could lead to a trip or an inability to place your heel on the ground.
  3.  You may lean too far forward and potentially trip or stumble.
  4. You push your walking aide (eg stick or frame) too far forward for an inefficient gait.
  5. You walk with your weight too far back on your heels, which could cause you to fall backwards.

  6.  You could have poor balance, that some simple balance exercise could quickly improve to reduce your chance of a fall.

  7.  You may walk with one hand on furniture or a wall, which could lead to a fall.

prevention from different injuries

  1. You can reduce the chance of leg injury. :

  1. Warm up before you exercise.
  2. Warm down when you finish. This includes some simple stretching exercises and plyometric drills.
  3. Wear well-fitting shoes, boots or braces that give good joint support.
  4. Tape or brace your ankles/knees in high risk sports such as football, basketball, volleyball and netball.
  5. Avoid activities on slippery, wet or uneven surfaces, or in areas with poor lighting.
  6. Strengthen your leg muscles and regularly use a wobble disc or balance board
  7. Maintain good general fitness.
